HOPE RANCH

Location:
Nestled between Goleta to the West, the Mesa to the East, and the 101 Freeway to the North, Hope Ranch has almost three miles of Pacific coastline and only one quiet winding thoroughfare, Las Palmas/Marina Drive.

Characteristics:
From 1888 until the 1920's, the Pacific Improvement Company shaped the destiny of Hope Ranch, molding it into its present image as a wealthy suburb of Santa Barbara. Many of the amenities offered to members of the Hope Ranch Home Association since the 1930's include cabanas at its own private beach, a polo field and tennis courts, archery range, skeet shooting facility, and thirty miles of bridle paths.

This rich tradition for enjoying outdoor living is shared by middle-class families as well as the affluent. Hope Ranch continues to maintian its lofty standards of suburban living, in effect since the late Harold S. Chase promoted his "sun-kissed, ocean-washed, mountain-girded, island-guarded Hope Ranch" more than a half century ago.

Price Range:
$1,400,000 to $6,500,000
